Corporate & Associate Membership By Application

This application is for eligible persons seeking admission or progression to the Corporate Membership Grade of the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

1. Applicant must satisfy the eligibility requirements prescribed by the Institution for Corporate Membership.
2. Applicant must possess the required academic and professional qualifications relevant to Mechanical Engineering or an approved engineering discipline.
3. Applicant must provide accurate and verifiable personal, academic and professional information during the application process.
4. Applicant must provide evidence of relevant professional experience where required by the Institution.
5. Applicant must provide all supporting documentation requested by the Institution before the application can be considered.
6. Applicant shall comply with the Constitution, regulations, professional standards and other applicable requirements of NIMechE.

Requirements for Corporate Membership

1. Applicant must have the appropriate academic qualification required for Corporate Membership.
2. Applicant must provide valid evidence of professional qualification and/or relevant engineering experience as applicable.
3. All information supplied in the application must be complete, accurate and verifiable.
4. Required certificates, credentials, identification documents and other supporting documents must be uploaded where applicable.
5. Applicant may be required to provide additional information or documentation during the assessment process.
6. The application is subject to verification, review and approval by the appropriate authority of the Institution.
7. Payment of the application fee does not automatically constitute approval of Corporate Membership.

2. Make the required non-refundable application payment through the secure Paystack payment platform.
3. After payment, follow the instructions provided on the redirected NIMechE portal page to complete your application.
4. Upload or submit all required supporting documents.
5. Your application will be reviewed and processed by the appropriate NIMechE authority.
6. Applicants can use the Track Your Application facility to monitor their application status.
